Thomas from Excel installed a new Rheem hot water heater for me today. He is very professional, transparent and knowledgeable of his trade. When the furnace in my new house went out, I had called the hvac service company that had previously serviced my new address and was told that they were unavailable for the next 3 days. When I called Mike at Excel (as referred by a friend), he was able to see me in the next 8 hours. I went into the crawl space with him and not only did he uncover the issue, but he walked me through the basics of my system, things to look out for to assess its functionality, and actions I could to prevent further issues. I am an RN and this is exactly what I do to support people’s health—Mike also looked at the whole health of my hvac system, not just the part that wasn’t working. Thanks, y’all, for empowering me while collaboratively problem solving!!

I recently had my thermostats switched to smart thermostats. Mike advised me the type to get and suggested I purchase on my own to have ready for him to install to save costs and I should have done this long ago- fabulous advice and tutorials from Mike! Plus which he offered a spontaneous visit as he was not far away when my work order came through. I assumed I was going to need to wait days or weeks for the install- NOPE….. SAME DAY as my online request went through as luck would have it. This is my fourth HVAC service provider in 10 years at this home. It will be my last- sticking with Excel mechanical solutions for quality and smartly priced services !!

Thomas Mead is the man. Fixed me right up and had my heat blasting. This is a very good company and very ethical. I called them at noon out of the blue, and I had heat by 2:30pm. They responded very quickly and only charged me the diagnosis fee.

I can't say enough amazing things about Josh and his team! Our AC went out today and he tried to do what he could but our 39 year old unit finally bit the dust. This evening he personally delivered us a stand alone AC unit so we can make it through the night and so the dogs will be cool tomorrow.
